In October 2015, I moved into my cozy little home on wheels and hit the road. By December 2025, I needed a changeā¦ and thatās when extended stay hotels got added to the mix.
My nomadic lifestyle is a blend of van life and hotel lifeā¦ and I call it Portable Living.

Life Right Now
Whereabouts: Iām in my Illinois hometown area until autumn š
Home-base: I've ditched the campground (for now) and set up house in an air conditioned hotel room.
Antics: Dodging the heat waves, thunderstorms, and occasional tornado šŖ This weather is seriously testing my sanity š¤Ŗ
