I write about the moments that make up my life… some meaningful, some quirky, all real.
My life doesn’t look quite like most people’s. I’m a full-time nomad, living in my cozy little home on wheels since 2015… long before I added extended-stay hotels to the mix in 2025.
I often spend summers in northern Illinois, winters in southeast Florida, and wander willy-nilly in between.
I call this lifestyle Portable Living.
But this isn’t a “how to” blog about van life or hotel life. Those are simply the backdrop where my days unfold.
What you’ll find here are stories and ponderings from a life lived a bit differently, and a mind that wanders off the beaten path… one little moment at a time.
