Saturday Morning - Before the Humans Wake Up

Itās a cool, peaceful, sunny morning at the campground.
The only sounds I hear are birds singing in the trees.
Thereās no human activity in the cabins, tents, RVs, or trailers⦠yet. No dogs barking, no golf carts roaming, just soothing sounds of nature.
In the flower-bed of the cabin next to my campsiteā¦
A bird rustles through the sprouted foliage gathering fixinās to make a nest - or maybe adding on to its current nest.
The bird flies away with a dried leaf in its beak - soon returning for more treasures.
From under my deckā¦
Miss Chippy (chipmunk) appears - as she does most every morning. She lives under the deck.
I often catch her sitting at the corner of the deck as if pondering what she sees. It seems Miss Chippy and I have something in common!
The campground has themed weekendsā¦
This weekendās theme is Motherās Day with family activities starting in a few hours.
There will most likely be a pancake breakfast tomorrow morning in honor of us Moms. I canāt participate (food allergies) but itās just a matter of letting the thought count.
Parting thoughtsā¦
Iāll soak in the sights and sounds of nature while I can.
Soon, the sights and sounds of humans will come onto the scene - bringing a whole new kind of life to the day.
