The purpose of my blog/website is to write. I am not here to collect data. But this is the internet and some data is available to me whether I want it or not.

I created this Privacy Policy to explain what data I might have access to and how I use it.

My Blog Platform and Use Of Analytics

This blog is written by me on the Bearblog.dev platform - also referred to as Bear. Bearblog is a privacy-first, no-nonsense, super-fast blogging platform.

I use the analytics data collected through my Bear account to track basic non-personal data such as visitor counts, device types, browsers, country, and referrer.

Your Email Address

When you choose to send me a message via a contact form on this blog, I receive your email address along with any information you choose to put in your message.

If needed, I use your email address for the purpose of replying to your message.

I use Letterbird.co (made by Good Enough) to create my contact form. For info about Letterbird’s privacy practices, check out their Privacy Policy.

Links To Other Websites

This blog may include third-party links to other websites.

When clicking through to a linked website, the website you land on may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction.

My Privacy Policy ceases when you are no longer on my blog.

Who I Share Your Data With

I do not share your data with anyone – unless required by law.

Minimum Age Requirement

My blog is directed to adults age 18 and over.

I do not knowingly collect or use personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

Data Breach Policy

In the event of a breach, you will be notified if there’s a threat to your rights or interests.

This notification will occur within 7 business days from the date the breach was discovered by me.
