It Really Is The Simple Things

Every time I leave the hotel for a bit, I'm thankful I'm not at the campground with no AC.

It's not hot but it sure is humid. The humidity level, combined with a high dew point, is beyond my ability to contain any amount of grumpiness - if I had to live in it 24/7.

At Krape Park, Flagstaff Hill is closed but the lower level is open and the perfect place to sip on the coffee I just got from Higher Grounds.

Not much is happening on this foggy, humid, dreary, Thursday morning - but the nothingness is what makes it peaceful.

Driving out of the park, I watch an older gentleman push a stroller across the bridge. The bridge crosses Yellow Creek, across from the well-known Krape Park waterfall.

In the stroller, a happy little dog eagerly scans the scenery.

The gentleman stops and turns the stroller so his faithful companion can gaze out over the bridge.

Watching this scene unfold makes me smile big πŸ˜„

Funny how the simplest thing can make a person's day πŸ₯°
